I went short on the GBPJPY forex pair today at 136.75 and too profit at 136.25 for a 50 pip profit. It was looking good for a short as it had once again bounced off a top pattern at around 136.90... I had intended on just keeping the trade running and gradually move the stoploss down as the price action was moving my way but when it started to look a bit funny in the charts and also as there was some resistance previously at 136.25 area, I thought it would be safer to take my profits!

I didn't get to watch the second episode (or the third rather) due to my holiday when it was actually broadcasted. However, the BBC website have the very good iPlayer which allows you to watch the programmes so long as you're in the UK. I did try and watch it in India but the iPlayer detects where you're from and won't let you watch if you not in the UK.

Happy New Year to you all! I sincerely hope you all had a good one and that you're now all geared up for 2009. Monday 5th is when we all officially go into work for the first time in the UK and it's the start of another year.
