Today was another disastrous day trading.. I have been trading on/off for over a year on this blog and I still am miles away from being successful. My stint with the trading academy showed signs of success before they terminated my contract (illegally... it's going through solicitors currently) and recent courses have proved to be fruitful.

I entered this trade after seeing downtrend pattern in the 5 min charts looking to turn. The stochastics were also oversold and looking to head upwards.
In the 1 minute chart, the 20 minute moving average line (which was functioning as resistance) became support and I traded off a bounce and got in at 11244. The market soon shot up and bounced off 11300 and I closed out at 11286 for +42.
The market has since reached 11360 which is another 74 points which I missed out on!

The weekend gone I attended Simon Grinter's Forex seminar. For those who check in on the website you'll find that I've been thinking about attending Simon's seminar for a while. I've been following Simon's work for a long time now when he started trading the Dax and now Forex. He had a blog where he would post his trades and he was always doing very well. His current Forex blog shows results of his trading sessions and there seems to be a lot of profit being made:
