The markets have been kind to me the last couple of weeks... quite a few signals and decent follow through on price action. So on Wednesday I had gone short on Gold.. the trend had been down and I saw the bounce as a retrace. You can see how the price got stuck around 1750 which also happened to be the 50% Fibonacci of the initial fall.
I got in at 1751 with the initial target around 1730. However, when I saw the pin bar in the 4 hour (as in the chart) I too profit around 1742 only for th

I had a really nice short in the GBPUSD market today with a trailing stop. I closed out early for 56 pips however when the market was retracing.. it retraced 25 points before it fell heavily (another 50 points) to 16500.
My actual exit is a trailing stop loss and it would have not hit it before it fell. The old trading adage 'cut your profits short and let your profits run' is a key principle to be successful in trading and I'm annoyed by myself that I broke the rule.

I haven't been posting my trading entries for a little while as I never got much feedback from it and thought that people weren't interested. However, lately, I've been getting emails from people asking me if I am indeed doing any trading at all and the answer is indeed YES!
