Something which is really bothering me at the moment is the dilemma of trading exits... this has been something which I've been trying to work on for a long time but I can't seem to get it right. I know that there is no right or wrong but I am currently toying around with two exit strategies and not being consistent with my approach. So for those who follow my Twitter feed, you'll note that I shorted the Euro (EURUSD) forex pair last night. The reason why I went short was because you can see that the bullish momentum seemed to have come to a halt... no more upwards movement. Then we got this massive bearish pinbar and that was our cue. I only held the trade from last night but as you can see, it fell like a stone. I don't like hard movements like this as it increases the chances of a pullback before a further movement so

If you'd been following my Twitter profile on http://www.twitter.com/makemoneyalan, where I post my trades in realtime, you would have seen that I entered long EURUSD on Monday at 12911.
I also posted the other day about how I wanted to move the stop to the days lows.... how I failed with that! I am still finding that I'm not holding onto my trades long enough and the temptation to exit my trades in a profit is still something that I need to work on.
