I have my day off today and I wanted to watch the markets and not be desperate to trade. A problem is that when I come home from work and find that the markets have moved a lot with a lot of profit left on the table, I feel that I missed a fantastic opportunity and feel that I need to do something to get some of the profits.. as a result, I fire off trades from my trading platform even though there is no real reason to.. this amounts to losses and then frustration.

I went short on the break of the support line today at 11430. I was so sure that we would see a huge move that I went in 3x normal size. The market moved 10 points my way and then reversed tricking myself (and I'm sure a lot of other shorters), taking me out at 11455 for the equivalent of -25 x 3 = -75! Ouch!
The moral of the story is to always bet the same size for each trade.. afterall, you just never know what will happen as we see today. The markets are notorious for doing this sort of th

I have been rather cautious with my trading as the markets seem extremely volatile whipsawing as uncertainty seems to take grip. As a result, I have been extremely selective in my trading and hence the rather less frequent updates on the website. However, on Friday, I did make a trade on the AUD/USD forex chart.
