Years ago, in 2008 I met some accountant turned forex trader who had a website called S3 forex and he seemed to be doing rather well. In fact, his old blog is still around, though it's not been updated in ages:

Happy New Year to you all! I sincerely hope you all had a good one and that you're now all geared up for 2009. Monday 5th is when we all officially go into work for the first time in the UK and it's the start of another year. I got today off so woke up early at 6.45am to log into Simon Grinter's chatroom. If you are able to listen, he offers a real time commentary on the markets and lets you know of the trades he is taking.
Today, one of his entries was a short below 107.80 and I took it! I rode the price action 30 points!! Hoorah! The market did go a lot lower however but a profit is a profit!
