If you look at the 1 min chart of the Dow Jones below.. you can see that the market in the yellow box wasn't doing too much.. however, I was trading in this region, selling and buying when I should have been doing anything. I saw that the market had dropped and I was expecting to see a bounce back up to around 8500 at least... however, the adage is 'trade what you see, not what you think' and I failed miserably.. in total, I made two trades in this region, both lost to the accumulative amount

The last few trades, I did make quite a few trades on the currency and the DOW (urgh, why am I still trading this instrument?). I haven't documented everything as I usually do.... many of these trades were done during the day when I was at work and not able to give myself the time to watch the markets.. yes, what on earth am I doing? Anyway, since the 24th, I placed 6 currency trades... all losing.. hmm, I won't go too much into but they were all small losses. All I can say is that the currency

Following on from my earlier FTSE trade of today, I also spotted a perfect entry for the Dow Jones today.. it's a shame that I didn't trade it as it would have been extremely profitable.. it's nice when the markets hit a perfect resistance line and short.. however, these perfect hits are rare and look great if you have executed them in the right manner.. however, more often than not, if you saw this movement, the markets wouldn't behave.
