Last week we made two trades. The first one we took 120 points on the Crude Oil long and the second trade Long Silver. Because of the profits from the Crude Oil trade, I felt comfortable giving the silver trade more room for a chance of a greater move. Unfortunately, the trade ended up as a scratch trade (even though it was in profit at one stage). Pinbars show signs of strong buying or selling and they are great indicators to enter a market. The safest time to use them as trading signals is with the trend and when the market is experiencing a pullback. Pinbar Trading - Crude Oil - 300 Points jump!

I would have been wary of this trade personally as the market has been trending downwards for a while but trends do reverse. I do like pin bars as they show strong buyers or sellers. In our case you can see that there were buyers present forming the pin bar in the daily chart.
