The markets were looking to head upwards and I put on a long at 136850 with a limit at 137050. It hit target for +9 but then shot up even more to 137400... darn, I left a lot on the table! The second trade was a short as I saw that the market had made a top from the candlestick patterns. The stochastics were looking to cross also. This short was at 137225. Back to the simulator and back to winning!

Typical, I go back to the simulator and make profits! I went long at 137775 with a target of 138000 and stop at 137550 and took 9 prices. The 5 mins stochastics were on their way up and the 15 min chart stochastics was oversold and I expected some movement up soon. Then I went long when the market went above the previous swing high at 138025 with a target of 138300. However, I took profits manually at 138100 for 3 prices. Total was 12 prices for the day

More mistakes - S&P emini trading log

I have shown just my entries in my attached chart... it was another bad day! I entered long where the arrow is green at 138425. I could see that the 5 min stochastics were in oversold territory so there would be a move upwards soon.. was it here? However, if I paid more attention to the 15 min chart, I could see that it was telling me something different, the MACD had cross towards the downside and indicating a short. The conflict of signals should have been a warning! Anyway, I ended up
