Entered my short a bit too early!

I shorted at 135425 today as the stochastics in the 5 min chart was heading lower. Also the 15 min chart stochastics chart was in overbought territory and I thought it was going to be heading lower. I was about 8 prices up at one stage but then the market went up and hovered around the previous highs of about 135850 or so before the stochastics finally turned in both 5 and 15 mins and tanked. Bank holiday trading

Hi All, Today is Bank Holiday Monday in the UK and in my previous post, I mentioned that I don't like to trade the market during these times. Best to wait for the traders to come back with some volume to start again. Well, that's certainly for the markets which are directly affected by the UK bank holiday. Trading and Bank Holidays

Hi All, In the UK, it's now Easter weekend. I've learnt from past experience that volume dries up and markets tend to be choppy and prone to false breakouts, whipsaws etc. I didn't trade last night (and hence no update) and I wont be trading today or Monday. I should be back on Tuesday and keep to the 'improved' trading style! Have a fantastic Easter!
