I didn't tell you guys but last week I received a letter from my trading academy to say that I was 9 months into my trading program and that I had the end of this month to restore my account back to above negative. S&P trading - need to see the trendlines!

Today wasn't a good day.. I'd been doing rather well recently and today, I let myself down. It was an obvious mistake in hindsight but the markets aren't very forgiving.. you make a mistake and you get taken to the cleaners. As you can see I went long at the two positions as shown. The stochastics were turning and I thought this would be a good entry. The market did move my direction for a little while and then hit resistance. S&P trading - watched on the sideline!

I got home a tad late today and was unable to trade once again!! Arrgh, frustrating. Anyway, had a look at the market and even if I got home at the usual time, there wasn't really much movement. The market had already done the majority of it's move for the first few hours from open.. there were some good opportunities then and at times, I think about how I could have done if I were a full time (successful) trader.
