I spotted an excellent long entry and went for it, got in at 175.61 and closed it out at 177.23 for 162 points! Hoorah, that's a nice gain. I could have held it longer.. it's gone up another 20 points since but I can't prise myself off this computer when the charts are moving.
I think the market has further to go.. there was a huge reversal on the US and UK markets today after all the help with the Financials from various governments.

The last few trades, I did make quite a few trades on the currency and the DOW (urgh, why am I still trading this instrument?). I haven't documented everything as I usually do.... many of these trades were done during the day when I was at work and not able to give myself the time to watch the markets.. yes, what on earth am I doing? Anyway, since the 24th, I placed 6 currency trades... all losing.. hmm, I won't go too much into but they were all small losses. All I can say is that the currency

Usually I really don't like trading the Dow as there is always a lot of short term noise which tend to mess up your trades by whipsawing the price action beyond your stops and then reversing. The main reason I guess is because the Dow Jones average is comprised of just the 30 biggest stocks and movement within the biggest one can move the markets.. in other words, market manipulation with the Dow Jones is not unheard of.
