Last night, I had put on an order to buy Crude Oil at 88.50. There was a nice bullish pinbar and I thought that we would see a retracement before a further move up since the bar was already so bullish (strong moves usually mean a pullback somewhere before further moves). The price action was strong and it didn't retrace at all and moved a further 200 points up. Unfortunately for me, it meant that my buy order wasn't trigger and I missed the action.

I've had a really good week trading the markets... just under 300 points in profit in total through being extremely disciplined and selective with my trading. I find that there are so many personal caveats that we have to work on for ourselves to improve on our trading. The markets cause havoc with our emotional states and it's easy to swing from elation to desperation to frustration all in a few minutes! I would have been wary of this trade personally as the market has been trending downwards for a while but trends do reverse. I do like pin bars as they show strong buyers or sellers. In our case you can see that there were buyers present forming the pin bar in the daily chart.
If you were to trade this you could take the long at the break of the nose of the pinbar.. so far the price has moved a nice 300 points... big moves like this probably mean a pullback at some stage so one would have t
