Well Mike Baghdady has his team of New Turtle Traders selected. There were 8000 applicants and 20 were picked (however the picture below shows 15 so not sure what happened to the others).
Each will be given $100,000 USD to 'play' with and they will be entitled to a portion of the profits made (if any). Any losses will be absorb by Baghdady.

I've been doing a lot of experimentations lately with regards to spreadbetting on the various platforms available and also different forms of strategies mainly in the daytrade arena and here are my thoughts:
Daytrading with tight stops is extremely difficult - tight meaning around 20 pips. With the spread usually around 3 pips either side, so around 6 pips that's already about a third of your stop before the market has moved. Brokers can move the spreads around to hit your stops without

It was another good day on the markets.. it's funny how you get periods when your systems don't seem to work at all and then when they work, everything works nicely. A big part of that is because the markets are always changing... the go from trending to non-trading, from trending up to trending down. Most systems work for a particular type of market... it's difficult to find a system which works across all of the markets volatile personalities.
Anyway, I had two trades on the GBPUSD today...
