Spreadbetting has been in the UK for over 10 years now. In a nutshell, it is tax-free financial trading, in other words you do not have to pay any tax on your profits. Gambling as a whole in the UK is tax free... this means that spreadbetting is classified the same as the casino.
There is also a fine line in trading whether it's gambling or not. I think for the majority of people it could be classified as gambling as they don't actually have a plan and don't really know what they are doing. T

Sometimes the simplest trades are best and today was once such day. I had a support line drawn at the lows as you can see in the chart below and as the price hit it for the third time, I went long at 3153. My stop was at 3145 so only 8 points away and I took profit at the previous top. A nice and easy 30 points!

Today I got into a couple of nice setups, very clean trading day. I like it when this happens, makes it very easy to trade. This was my second trade today, this time on the DOW. If you look at the longer timeframe charts you can see that the DOW is in an uptrend.. this means that I'm looking for long trades.. areas where I can buy cheap!
Anyway, I was watching the DOW as below and drew a support line as the market was creeping upwards. Higher highs and higher lows though you can see that
