So looking back on the trading week where we made profit but a lot less than what it could have been. I had mentioned that I wanted to bring my stop to the low of each daily candle but was unable to do this. I took 80 pips on EURUSD and 40 pips on EURJPY.
If you look at what happened with EURUSD, you can see where I entered and exited:
I got out at 13000 as it was a round number and the shorter timeframe charts showed the resistance preventing the price from moving above this point.. h

If you'd been following my Twitter profile on http://www.twitter.com/makemoneyalan, where I post my trades in realtime, you would have seen that I entered long EURUSD on Monday at 12911.
I also posted the other day about how I wanted to move the stop to the days lows.... how I failed with that! I am still finding that I'm not holding onto my trades long enough and the temptation to exit my trades in a profit is still something that I need to work on.

I am still finding it difficult to take full advantage of my winning trades.. I recently did some digging into some of my previous winning trades to see how I can improve on their exits. Quite often, I find that I have closed too early my trades for a profit.. but a profit which isn't as good as it should have been.
Of course, there are times when I close a trade at the optimal point and it is exhilarating when you do this.. you feel great that you've been able to get out at the best point fo
