Support and resistance especially if you're looking at daytrading is the main thing to look at. I've looked at all sorts of things to try and decide where to place an entry and exit.
Now if you break down day trading, you have position trading and scalping. Scalping is something which I am unable to do, it means you're entering and exiting taking few prices here and there. You do this many many times throughout the trading day. You need to be pretty skillful and quick to get in and out.

Hi All,
I did the usual thing, came back home from work, turned on the computer, fired up the trading platform to see if I could catch the last few hours of the US market. You tend to get good movement when the market opens and also towards the end.
When I got back at 6.30pm GMT, I found that the market had already moved a huge amount today! From the low of the day to the high, we have covered 100 prices already! This makes the market already way overbought and we could be due a reversal i

Hi All,
Got back home at around 7pm today. I initially thought that I would not see any action but when the market hit the 154300 level, I went short. This level was reached earlier in the trading day and fell like stone..
When I shorted it at 154250, it did indeed fall. My target was 153950 but I closed early at 154050 for a +8 profit.
Shortly afterwards the market bounced at the 153875. I didn't realise this at the time but if you draw a line from the intraday lows of the day, they
