Just as Google decided to shut down my Adwords a couple of weeks back (for reasons unknown), I was contacted by a chap from Digivate who asked if I would be interested put some adverts on the site for some a monthly sponsorship depending on the number of posts I have and Google Pagerank! It sounded a bit too good to be true but I listened away and implemented their ads and lo-and-behold they have paid me $50 for a “Golden Handshake” to start with and cash every month! How excellent is that!? On top of that, the ads appear at the end of my posts and are quite descreet, no huge flashing ugly banners which just serve to annoy people.

The money went straight into my Paypal account. I’ve not had my blog for that long and I was surprised that I was approached by these guys! I did ask him how he found me and it was just through the search engines.. wow, all the hard work is paying off!

Anyway, this is far easier than Google Adwords and as my site gets more visitors and a higher Google Pagerank, they said that they will review my rates! Excellent!
